Volunteers Coming to the Shepherd’s Place

On March 11th, our first volunteers will be arriving to help finish the building of The Shepherd’s Place lodge and shop. We are grateful to each person who has contacted us with the intention of coming out to Montana this spring and summer to work with us. Today, we even had a LT reader volunteer to come out to cook and clean! If you received a letter or e-mail from us and would like to volunteer, please e-mail me at editors@lighthousetrails.com or call 406-889-3610. We praise the Lord for His wonderful provision. We also want to thank all the LT friends who contacted us to say they couldn’t come out to volunteer for one reason or another but said they would pray for us. That is the greatest kind of help we could have.

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. (Psalm 127:1)

This is a verse we read this morning during devotions:

The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever. (Psalm 138: 8)

This is the stone we picked out for our chimney and hearth at the lodge. It is scheduled to go up in a few weeks.
