Several trees had to come down in order to make room for the house and shop. A man with a portable saw mill will be coming to the land in October and cutting these into lumber for us.
This is the 22 foot long second hand trailer we recently bought to use on the land. We’ll use it this winter while the carpenter crew is building the house and shop.
Today, our well driller drilled the well. He hit water at 200 feet. Suddenly a lot is happening on our land.
Worked with Dave marking the trees that will be removed where our shop is going to go. Excavating for shop begins tomorrow. We also stacked about a cord of wood. Whew!
On September 16, we officially broke ground for The Shepherd’s Place. We found a great sub-contractor who is doing the excavating.
