GOOD NEWS. At the town meeting last night, we learned that they are bringing in a Chinook helicopter to help fight the fire that is about 3 miles from us. The helicopter will draw water from a lake that is at the base of the mountain on fire.
Dave is in the process of removing dead trees and branches by our forestry land boundary. This will form a 10′ fire line.
