Putting the OSB on the lodge front. The trusses didn’t go in this past week because of the weather, but the plans are for them to go up on Wed. That is our framer, Dan, on the ladder. Be careful Dan.
Framing on the shop has begun. If all goes according to plans, the framing should take about 7 days, and then the roof. The shop for the publishing ministry sits about 450 feet away from the Shepherd’s lodge. You can also see here a pile of logs that will be cut into lumber for our deck at the lodge. And by the way, temperatures last week were in the single digits, but this coming week, it is supposed to warm up to a high 35 degrees.
The tarps and straw are on the new concrete foundation, keeping it insulated for the first week.
